As we specified in the disclaimer, the data is based on average general values and is intended for entertainment purposes, but of course there is truth behind the number you got. Like we said in the results page we want to be as transparent as possible about our estimation process, so in this paragraph you will find an explanation about the algorithm we used to calculate your result, including the formulas and assumptions made.
So first of all, to understand how we arrived at your result, we need to analyze the inputs and the calculations performed. And to do so keep in mind that an average adult human produces about 100 to 250 g (0.22 to 0.55 Pounds) of feces per day, while children produce much less. This number can vary significantly based on diet, health, and lifestyle factors. and one thing that is in common between all of these kind of things is weight. So we looked for the average men weight and found out that it is 62kg, and with this value we created a "modifier" which increases the final result if the weight is higher than the average value. The further you are above the average value, the more the modifier will increase the final result. Once we finished this algorithm for men we did the same for women and then we created the unit conversion algorithm, in order to make the calculator more accessible for everyone. The rest is just simple math, where you sum the daily value you obtained, but considering that the first 18 years impact less on the final result, because as we said earlier children produce less feces than an average adult, so we also implemented age brackets (for individuals under 18) in order to make less significant the first years.
