The story behind the unconventional team

With our varied experiences, we question the status quo and develop original tools that provide new insights into daily life. Our goal is to make complicated concepts interesting and approachable for everyone by combining facts, exploration, and a little bit of fun.

Who are we and why we do this?

We are a group of college students who are all passionate about learning and have the same objective: to develop original tools that highlight odd and unexpected facets of daily life. We study engineering, we need to think smarter and different and we can assist you do this while we learn these things ourselves, it's like a win win situation! And this is our true purpose, the reason why we do all of this, to learn and get better while presenting unique tools and connect with people, in order to create a pristine community.

In addition to helping us finance our research, we provide people with interesting opportunities to examine their behaviors, potential, and well-being by fusing data, analysis, and creativity. We work to make these insights understandable and significant, even for people who are not familiar with intricate formulae or numbers, because we think that every calculation has a fascinating backstory. Our tools are made to let people see numbers in a new way, not just a quantity but instead like an expression. We also hope that it can be helpful for everyone, whether that means discovering hidden connections, analyzing personal trends, or just discovering something new and surprising.

How was the idea born?

It's actually a pretty funny story tho. It was a rainy day at uni and we were talking about random stuff when one of us asked everyone what is the amount of hair that we will lose once we finish our studies, because of the joke people make about engineers. So we just looked for a calculator or some sort of data to give him an answer. Unfortunately we couln't find much so we just thought, "why don't we create the calculator ourself?". So we went home and we just started developing, and the rest is history!
